Terms of use
Terms for using the Petek Aile mobile app and the petek.family site.
Last updated: October 15, 2026
The Turkish version of this text is authoritative.
These terms are between Onore (⟨being updated⟩, ⟨being updated⟩, MERSİS ⟨being updated⟩, ⟨being updated⟩) and you, the user of Petek Aile. By opening an account you accept them. How your personal data is processed is explained in the privacy notice and the privacy policy.
1. The Service
- Petek Aile is the app your child's school opens to parents through Petek. It shows the sections your school enables: the day summary, photos, messages, forms, payments and similar.
- The school provides the education, care, fee and announcement content. Your relationship with the school (enrolment, education, fees, refunds) is governed by your enrolment contract with the school; Onore is not a party to it.
- Petek Aile is free for parents. Payments you make to the school are between you and the school and go through the payment institution the school chose; card details never enter Petek.
- Onore may develop and change the Service; your school may switch sections off. If your school's Petek subscription ends, your access to that school's sections ends too.
2. Account
- Petek Aile may be used by parents and legal representatives aged 18 or over invited by the school, and by family members a parent invites and the school allows. The Service is not meant for use by children.
- You sign in with a code sent to your phone. You are responsible for keeping your details accurate.
- Keep your phone and account secure. Tell us and your school at once if you lose your phone or suspect misuse; you can sign out other devices in the app.
- Family members you invite get only the access you allow; you can withdraw an invitation at any time.
- Each parent signs in with their own account. The school applies hand-over and access restrictions it records on a court order or a parent's notice.
3. Rules of use
You agree not to:
- copy, share or publish other children's or parents' photos, details or messages without permission (photos in the app are for personal and family use only);
- use another person's account or act on someone else's behalf;
- send insulting, harassing or threatening content to school staff or others;
- upload unlawful or obscene content, or content that infringes others' rights;
- try to bypass security, access others' data, scrape the Service with automated tools or disrupt it;
- copy, modify or reverse engineer the software except where the law allows.
Onore and the school may remove such content and Onore may suspend the account.
4. Content and intellectual property
The Petek software, design and marks belong to Onore; you get a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the Service. Content shared by the school belongs to the school and content you send belongs to you; you allow it to be used as far as needed to send it to your school and show it in the Service.
5. Liability
- Onore takes due care to keep the Service secure and available. Interruptions may happen for maintenance, updates or reasons outside Onore's control (internet and mobile network problems, force majeure).
- Your school is responsible for the accuracy of its content and for its education and care services.
- Onore is fully liable for damage caused by its intent or gross negligence and wherever the law does not allow a limit. Otherwise liability is limited, as far as the law allows, to foreseeable direct damage. Your rights under Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 are reserved.
6. Ending
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile › Delete my account); the account and data deletion page explains what is deleted and what stays with the school. Onore may suspend or close an account for serious or repeated breach of these terms, giving notice first unless the matter is urgent.
7. Changes
We announce changes in the app at least 15 days before they take effect. If a change narrows your rights we ask for your approval again; if you do not accept, you can delete your account.
8. Law and disputes
Turkish law applies. As a consumer you may apply, under Articles 68 and 73 of Law No. 6502, to the consumer arbitration committee where you live or where the transaction took place within the statutory monetary limits, and above those limits to the consumer court where you live.
